• Before you scan the checks, make sure the deposit list is ready. Then, compare the listing from the scanner with the deposit list.
• Get the bank payment paperwork ready, making sure the checks go to the right account.
• Save the email with the instructions for sending money. Verify that the arriving funds correspond with the remittance instruction.
• Get all the money coming in and put it on the deposit list. Then, check the bank statement against the deposit list.
• Sort by currency, prepare the deposit list and bank paying in form, and ensure that the quantities agree. After receiving cash, count it to
• check the amount and issue a receipt if necessary.
• When a receipt is received without remittance advice, it is important to investigate it to determine its purpose. Once resolved, the receipt should be allocated to the right ledger.
