Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Keeping track of money.
• Processing incoming and outgoing payments for commercial entities.
• Reviewing bills.
• Resolving accounts to the general ledger.
• Acquiring information from customers on purchases and bills.
• Fielding questions pertaining to financial records.
• Depending on the position, handle receivables and payables.
• Arrange monetary account details using database software.
• Field questions about the account from both inside and outside the company.
• Keep in touch with customers on a frequent basis to collect payments
• Pay all business bills on time, including credit cards.
• Check all financial dealings internally as needed
• Go over all of the invoices, both new and old.
• Prepare audited financial reports for assessment by relevant regulatory bodies
• Skills Required of an Account Officer
• An advanced degree in accounting or business administration is preferred.
• The ideal designation is “Certified Public Accountant.”
• Knowledge of common productivity programs, such as Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with leading accounting software packages
• Excellent planning abilities
• Enthusiastic and meticulous

Eligibility Criteria/About the Applicant

• A Master of Commerce or Master of Business Administration (Finance) degree from an institution approved by the Higher Education
• Commission (HEC) is required.
• Five (5) years of experience in the field is required.
• Upper Age Limit: 45
