Job Duties and Overview:
- Create, launch, and oversee security and access policies for use in Azure and GCP settings.
- Provide application and integration support while working directly with product teams to build features that enhance security and the user experience.
- In order to identify and react to suspicious or illegal access in the Cloud and fix any serious vulnerabilities, it is necessary to review, implement, and maintain security procedures and tools.
- Set up procedures for requesting and approving access as part of the IAM governance and policies.
- Make sure that services and users have the appropriate amount of access to Azure and GCP resources by setting up and maintaining access control policies, roles, and permissions.
- Automated security and access control checks can be implemented by integrating identity and access management (IAM) solutions into
- continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. This will help with both development and deployment.
- Help refine state-of-the-art service offerings and internal best practices.
- Align IAM policies with the entire organizational goals by working closely with cross-functional teams, such as IT, security, and compliance.
- Try out Azure and GCP using proof of concepts (POCs). The cloud
- Construct and run automation frameworks for deployments in the Azure and Google Cloud environments.
- To automate operational operations in the Azure/GCP platform, design, build, manage, and maintain DevSecOps tools such as Terraform, Python, and Ansible.
- Assist AppDev teams by designing and constructing a cloud foundation in collaboration with Cloud Engineers.
- Create policies and put them into action by making use of different cloud posture management solutions.
Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate
- IaaS tools like Terraform and Cloud Build have been a part of my toolbox for over five years.
- 3+ Experienced in terraform security module design and implementation for many years.
- Programming background in Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Working familiarity with container and orchestration technologies, including but not limited to Docker, GKE, and AKS.
- Advanced knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Github Actions, and JFrog.
- Required skills include SAML, single sign-on for GCP via IAM center, Linux/Windows/LDAP/AD authentication.
- Excellent scripting abilities, including Bash, PowerShell, and Groovy
- Familiarity with zero trust, least privilege, and authentication and access control is an asset in the field of information security.
- Proficient in both Windows and Linux/Unix
- Having experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions like PAM, PKI, Directory, AM, IGA, CNAPP, CWPP, or CSPM is an edge.
- A CISSP, Azure Security, or GCP Security credential is an asset.
