Transcom will supply you with a desktop, laptop, and headset for the Advisor position. For training and meetings, you’ll need to use the computer’s built-in webcam.

Job Duties and Overview:

  • Speak with callers fluently, listen carefully, assess their situation, and offer appropriate assistance.
  • Proficiently use a variety of apps to find research solutions
  • Using systems, multitask while patiently explaining each step
  • Maintain composure while mediating disputes and guiding customers through difficult situations
  • Be self-motivated and disciplined to achieve success in a virtual setting.
  • Take a large volume of incoming calls from clients while adhering rigidly to your allotted full-time schedule in a highly structured setting.
  • Engage in high-volume, fast-paced, and occasionally demanding customer service while seated at a desk and using a wired headset.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

  • Must be 18 or older
  • Completion of high school or its equivalent
  • Capable of passing a background check without incident
  • Continually meet or exceed all performance expectations while working a full-time 32-to 40-hour work week with the possibility of overtime as required
  • Adaptable to work nights, weekends, and holidays, among other shifts
  • Capable of working full-time hours and consistently showing up for work as scheduled
  • Proficient with computers; must be able to type 30 words per minute accurately
  • Superb command of the English language, both in writing and speaking
  • Polite, personable, and very professional
  • Consistently following processes and policies
  • Capable of juggling multiple apps at once while conversing with clients over the phone
  • Competent in meeting tight deadlines Skilled in listening to and understanding the demands of customers
  • Prolonged sitting, reaching, communicating (verbally and electronically), typing, reading, multitasking, and concentrating is required of you in this job.
  • Previous experience working in a call center or remotely is preferred.
