Job Duties and Overview:

• operate as a focal point for data governance inside S&CC and manage and oversee the data under their care.
• Manage day-to-day data governance efforts and lead partnerships with important business, enterprise, and control partners.
• Make certain that S&CC follows the guidelines and criteria outlined in the Enterprise Data and Information Management Policy and Standards in regards to data management.
• Manage projects to create, disseminate, and construct an enterprise-wide data governance strategy and associated processes for S&CC.
• To effectively manage and control the business’ data, you must take the lead in designing and implementing processes, templates, and suitable mitigating controls to back up corporate data policy and standards.
• Drive important data management processes for S&CC, including criticality framework, producer/consumer interaction model, project data, and data retention/disposition.
• Take charge of cross-departmental teams and endeavors that are high in complexity, risk, and resource consumption.
• Craft, articulate and deliver a holistic strategy for your data governance / management function, integrated with the broader business strategy and in alignment with the Enterprise Data Strategy, Policy and Standards.
• Assess and report data threats and problems, and aid company leaders in formulating and executing corrective measures.
• Drive the creation of reports to track both established and new data-related threats and the procedures for dealing with them.
• Supply data governance and supervision via training, tools, and guidance.
• Assist projects with data governance knowledge, making sure they adhere to data management and governance policies and standards.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• A bachelor’s degree, technical certificate, or at least seven years of related work experience is required.
• Knowledgeable in data risk and management, as well as the fundamentals of data governance.
• Ability to independently connect with senior leaders, and influence without direct authority, giving counsel and thought leadership on data governance tasks..
