We are on the lookout for a Field Application Engineer who is full of life and energy, has a proven track record of success, and has installation and training expertise for sophisticated home security and automation systems. Best practices in the industry will be implemented and supported by this function. A member of this squad will split the United States in half and assist in each region. As part of their role, this engineer will collaborate closely with sales and operations on new product initiatives, find industry best practices, and help clients with non-standard installation problems.

Salary Field Application Engineer:

Job Duties and Overview:
- Support clients technologically both before and after the sale through means such as email, video conferencing, in-person meetings, and phone calls.
- Help clients set up their ADT Multifamily security systems correctly.
- Communicate between our engineering team and operations.
- Go on customer visits across the United States.
- Help customers troubleshoot and fix technical issues on their premises.
- Carry out client demos and technical training, and compile all necessary paperwork.
- Figure out how to provide our clients with first-rate service and stick to it.
- Respond quickly to technical inquiries and address technical concerns.
Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate
- Evangelist with charisma who can represent clients to internal stakeholders and the business to external ones.
- Firm approach to tackling problems.
- An enthusiastic and inquisitive technologist who can quickly pick up new skills and adjust to changing market conditions.
- Five years of experience installing and/or working with electronic systems is required.
- A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is preferred but not necessary.
- Excellent abilities in both written and spoken expression.
- Achieve a 50% increase in trip time.
