At Gallipoli Barracks (Enoggera), we are looking for a passionate and independent gardener to manage our hydroponics section. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the enthusiastic Green Thumb among us; we’ll coach you step-by-step as you oversee the seed-to-harvest cycle of multiple cultivars in a climate-controlled indoor setting.

Job Duties and Overview:

• Gig available on an irregular basis
• You can refine the process of hydroponic farming by accessing the chamber daily to supervise and monitor growth while utilizing additional support and education.
• Careful observation and documentation of all environmental variables affecting the growth process, including pH, temperature, and tank levels.
• Collaborate with an outside hydroponics firm to swiftly handle crop, cultivar, and mechanical concerns as they arise.
• While handling the fresh produce, adhere to the company’s standards and practices on food safety.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• Prior knowledge of hydroponics is an asset, but not required.
• Own transportation and license to reach the location.
• Independently organize and schedule duties on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis while meticulously following directions..
