Salary Operations Coordinator job:

• AED 20-30 per hour

Job Duties and Overview:

• Processing and coordinating incoming export orders from distributors and end users.
• Verify that all estimates for orders received and shipments to be made conform to the terms specified in each order before creating any moves.
• Creation of moves and allocation of suitable tanks to each move, on a first in/ first out basis where possible.
• Directly or through agents, you are responsible for booking cargo with shipping lines and coordinating papers between the shipper, Stolt, the nominated shipping lines, and the customs brokers.
• Directly or through agents, you’ll be in charge of coordinating loading between depots, carriers, and the shipper.
• Facilitating export customs procedures by coordinating with shippers, customs brokers, and agents (where applicable).
• Tracking and billing for both origin and destination demurrage, including uncollectible destination demurrage.
• Customer shipment confirmation and billing for each transport.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• A college education OR bachelor
• Prior work experience of at least three years in the Tank container or logistics business is preferred.
• Be honest, methodical, and focused on your end goal.
• Competence in both spoken and written expression.
• Capable of using word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Extensive background in international business and cultural sensitivity.
• Exchanging information with other employees in the department requires courtesy and subtlety.
• Able to effectively convey and discuss complex topics in conversation.
• Skilled communicator who influences and shapes the image of a complex division/business unit.
