To lead work teams and control the production process, the Production Engineer is responsible for providing the technical and technological problem-solving abilities of the production engineering process as well as the necessary planning abilities. The execution of work to a high quality and auditable standard that is by the work scope of the contract, the requirements of the statutes and codes, the procedures of the Integrated Management System (IMS), the design parameters, the site survey input, the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), the stress inputs, and the vendor data. A variety of tasks, including installation, modification, and maintenance, are carried out by this job and its subordinates.

Job Duties and Overview:

• With the ability to do various types of welding, ensuring that the work can carried out according to the plan
• Welders should be trained and qualified through on-the-job training (OJT) to maintain high standards and assure the continuation of corporate operations.
• Being in charge of welding equipment and supplies is a responsibility.
• Welding equipment distributed to vessels or projects under the specification requirements.
• A comprehensive understanding of engineering methods should used for the resolution of management difficulties associated with production to ensure that the production process carried out in the most effective, efficient, and cost-effective manner possible.
• Ensure that the welding and cutting procedures carried out without any defects.
• Responsible for scaling and integrating physical, human, and financial resources to achieve high levels of efficiency at the lowest possible cost and in the quest of continuous improvement. Pay attention to the daily use of manpower and manhours for the projects, and report your findings to the manager.
• Continue to keep an eye on the daily manhour consumption for the projects and provide the section manager with an update if there is any deviation. Make a plan and assign the crew under the task scope of the vessel.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• A degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or
• A Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 1 (Motorship) is required.
• With at least three years of experience in the appropriate field of employment
