Job Duties and Overview Senior program officer job:

• Assist with the implementation of designated programs and provide necessary support to guarantee that all program objectives are fulfilled in accordance with donor and DIG rules.
• Collaborate with field staff to complete project-related services, and function as the principal liaison between the DIG-US office and any designated field offices.
• As required, offer technical support.
• Maintain tabs on project milestones and monetary objectives.
• Keep an eye on how well the project is doing within the specified time frame and/or region.
• Consistently produce high-quality project status reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc.) and collaborate with supervisor and field team to
• adjust objectives as needed. Keep upper management and supervisors apprised of any pressing matters as they occur.
• Traveling to the field on a regular basis to offer technical support and oversee program implementation.
• Act as the primary liaison with affiliated organizations as needed.
• Assist with DIG’s presence in various gatherings, such as conferences and workshops.
• As needed, notify the Executive Vice President of Programs and the program Technical Director with updates, reports, and critical analyses of field reports. Collaborate with the appropriate divisions to furnish the field with accurate information about DIG rules and regulations and to guarantee efficient support to the field.
• Find, hire, and oversee foreign consultants and employees for DIG-US and regional offices.
