Job Duties and Overview:
- Helps the executive chef with menu planning and creation; assists with controlling account spending and monitoring cost controls
- Manages the planning and execution of catering events
- Works with the company’s marketing and culinary staff to launch new culinary initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate
- Bachelor of Science degree or its equivalent
- Some advanced training or experience in the culinary arts or kitchen management, preferably in a managerial capacity
- Experience in catering is an asset
- Strong preference for candidates with expertise in complicated, high-volume foodservice operations
- A background in institutional and batch cooking would be an asset.
- Participation in programs and activities aimed at ensuring client happiness is a must.
