Job Duties and Overview:

• Make a responsible contribution to the team’s production by carrying out assigned tasks in accordance with assigned competencies.
• Perform tasks as assigned by your supervisor or another appropriate individual.
• Make sure everything is done according to the rules laid out in the Safety Management System.
• Execute all tasks within their Section of Infrastructure Services Group in compliance with the requirements of the Integrated Management
• Systems Business and Divisional Instructions to minimize harm to people, property, processes, and the environment.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable work standards and safe work practices in line with Queensland Rail’s policies, procedures, and legal mandates.
• Take part in initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and aid in the creation of innovative methods of operation
• Adhere to the Employee Management System that Queensland Rails has put in place.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• Desirable: Possess a valid “MR” driver’s licence.
• Possessing relevant work experience in manual labour would be an asset.
• It is preferred, but not required, to have a license for a front-end loader, excavator, skidsteer, truck, or any other relevant license or ticket.
