Salary Warehouse Associate job:

• NZD 20-30 per hour

Job Duties and Overview:

• Complete a vehicle inspection report and perform pre-operational safety checks before operating equipment.
• Fill up the propane tank or charge the batteries of the lift vehicle.
• Remove items from trailers, storage spaces, or bins.
• Be familiar with the onboard RF unit’s instructions and follow them to the letter.
• Use the handheld scanner properly.
• Avoid using forks or poles by loading and unloading pads and other supplies by hand.
• Always adhere to all predetermined SOPs.
• Assist with general housekeeping tasks as needed
• Carry out any additional duties given by upper management

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• Prior experience as a warehouse associate is preferred.
• Possess unrestricted mobility in sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and twisting.
• Ability to stand for long durations is a must.
• There will be multiple shifts where you’ll need to lift 80 pounds.
• Proper vision correction is required up to 20/40.
• Will have to get on and off a lift truck multiple times throughout the course of a shift.
• You need to have no problems loading or unloading pad materials.
• The capacity to operate a variety of lift truck equipment inside the designated facility and successfully complete the certification process for lift trucks.
• The ideal candidate will have strong English language skills, be able to work with minimal oversight, be a team player, and consistently demonstrate initiative, passion, and pride in their work.
