Job Duties and Overview:
- Gathers and transports all ingredients and serving utensils for catered events.
- Tracks and keeps food at a consistent temperature.
- Sets up the tables and garnishes.
- Organizes food, drink, and service items on buffet tables in a standardized manner.
- Assist visitors with their food and drink needs.
- Completely tidy ups venue following event.
- Takes back-up servingware, including dishes, glasses, and cutlery, to the catering establishment.
- Hands out and gathers feedback forms for catered events.
- Keeps the catering facility and its equipment stocked, clean, and in good working order.
- Maintains a consistent level of politeness and friendliness with guests.
- Always knows everything on the menu and in stock.
- Keeps workplace free of hazards and clean.
- Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene and safety at all times.
- Other tasks may also be allocated.
Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate
- Possession or ability to acquire a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers’ permission may be necessary,
- depending on the state’s regulations.
- A valid driver’s license may also be required.
