In the Midlands of England, there is now an opening for an Area Operative to join a multi-talented team that produces and supplies asphalt. The following responsibilities will be part of your job at Bardon Express Asphalt.

The role itself would involve working across multiple sites in the Midlands Region and includes the mixing of asphalt on various operating systems and asphalt plants, welcoming and serving our customers on the weighbridges, upselling associated items through our shops, operating mobile plant, light maintenance and housekeeping tasks. Additionally, the work would entail assisting our technical team with asphalt sampling and testing in both field and laboratory settings, as well as learning the fundamentals of asphalt quality.

You will report to the site management and operate the stationary and mobile plant to generate asphalt while adhering to the highest standards of health and safety, quality, sustainability, efficiency, and environmental awareness.
