Job Duties and Overview:

  • Create a morally sound fundraising strategy that takes into account the branch’s needs while selecting a variety of sources.
  • To assist with events, appeals, and collections, assemble a team of fundraising volunteers in collaboration with the branch secretary and the Regional Fundraising Manager.
  • Provide assistance to national fundraising efforts in collaboration with the Regional Fundraising Manager.
  • Create chances to raise both awareness and money in collaboration with the Branch’s Publicity Officer.
  • Organising and supervising regional fundraisers
  • Finding the right trusts and grant funding organisations, and then applying to them
  • Verify that all fundraising materials adhere to the current key themes and SSAFA branding style in collaboration with the central office marketing personnel.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Fundraising Manager when seeking opportunities from sources outside of the immediate area, such as corporations.
  • Compile data and reports for the branch after evaluating fundraising events.
  • Representing SSAFA in a positive light and engaging the community at large in awareness-raising efforts while adhering to the organization’s principles and policies, including those pertaining to data protection and volunteering (which you will learn about during your training and local induction).
