Job Duties and Overview:
- Retain cordial relationships with all parties involved, including clients, faculty, students, and the school administration.
- Collaborate with the management and chefs at Chartwells K12 to develop menu items and ensure consistent high-quality service.
- Direct the account’s profit and loss and budgeting activities.
- Launch innovative culinary initiatives in partnership with Chartwells K12’s marketing and culinary departments.
Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate
- degree in food science, business administration, hospitality, or a related field
- Experience running a food service establishment for three to five years
- Proven ability to handle large-scale production and catering
- Extensive background in overseeing multi-million dollar budgets
- Aspiration to gain experience and advance my career in the foodservice industry
- Strongly preferred: prior experience with K-12 school nutrition programs and familiarity with NSLP/USDA regulations
