Job Duties and Overview:

  • Oversees routine operations, making sure they are up to par and that customers’ expectations are consistently met.
  • Oversees personnel levels to guarantee satisfaction of guests, satisfaction of operational needs, and achievement of financial goals.
  • Makes ensuring that staff are being kept informed about company goals and expectations by consistent and ongoing communication, rewards good performance, and achieves set goals.
  • Achieves or surpasses financial goals and objectives for the property by comprehending how departmental operations affect these targets.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

  • Completed high school or equivalent; two years of relevant work experience in a customer service, front desk, or similar role.
  • Two years of college coursework in a relevant field (such as hospitality, business administration, or hotel and restaurant management) is sufficient; relevant work experience is not necessary.
  • Advocates for honest and ethical financial and business decision-making; uses strong communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate others; sets a good example; and uses these qualities to lead by example.
  • Promotes an environment where team members are willing to help one another out and work together.
  • Acting as an example of how to behave appropriately.
  • Manages and oversees staff. Handles all routine tasks. Acquires sufficient knowledge of job responsibilities to fill in for absent coworkers.
  • Gets along well with coworkers and makes sure they do the same when working together as a team.
  • Assumes responsibility for overseeing the entire front desk when the manager or assistant is not there.
