You will be working in a distribution center, handling shipping and receiving duties as a Warehouse Associate. Doing so will make you an integral component of the Distribution Center’s system for relocating goods swiftly, precisely, and safely.

Job Duties and Overview:

• Carry out any and all shipping and receiving responsibilities as directed by management.
• Finish any shipping and/or receiving paperwork that has been assigned.
• Accurately choose and pack grocery, produce, meat, frozen food, and dairy products into pallets for distribution to shops.
• Safely and effectively operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and other similar devices
• Check pallet jacks and forklifts before using them, as required by corporate policy.
• Maintain a clean and clutter-free workspace by adhering to proper sanitation procedures.
• To improve productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, your team or distribution center may require you to suggest changes to existing procedures or processes.
• Capacity for repeated extending of the arms, stooping of the legs, and lifting of up to 80 pounds
• Ability to read and interpret textual and numeric product IDs Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to satisfy manufacturing standards specified by the company
• Work schedule flexibility is required for the completion of tasks.
• Perform duties in a warehouse setting characterized by a wide range of environmental factors (e.g., cold temperatures, concrete floors, powered industrial trucks).

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• Authorized to operate specific types of industrial machinery
• proficient at using a computer for data entry and study
• Competent multitasker and detail-oriented problem-solver who can work independently and as part of a team in a time-sensitive, high-pressure setting.
• Senior Year of High School
• Distribution industry experience or familiarity
