Job Duties and Overview:

• Helping examine Material Submissions, Shop Drawings, Inspection Requests, As Built Drawings, etc.
• Contribute expert knowledge and practical expertise to solving any discipline-related problems that may occur on the job.
• Participating in a variety of construction tasks alongside the engineering team to guarantee adherence to the client’s requirements.
• Helping the supervisor look over the contractor’s daily and weekly reports of inspections.
• Receive contractor’s material inspection requests (MIR), conduct on-site inspections, report on material quality and quantity, and approve requests.
• Tests, assessments, and inspections are planned, and the necessary equipment is prepared and set up.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to the contractor’s Inspection Requests (IR’s).
• Every day, you must check in to make sure that everything is running smoothly on the job site in terms of quality control standards (QCS), health and safety, and environmental protection.
• Reports the findings of inspections, examinations, and tests, and determines whether or not they are valid and acceptable.
• Verifying that all operational and safety requirements met by the contractors.
• Carries out any and all additional duties linked with the job.
• If problems with the work are discovered on site and suspected to be the result of the contractor’s failure to follow written or verbal instructions, a Surveillance
• Report should be prepared, and a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) should completed if necessary in light of later occurrences.
• Complete records of the works’ progress must kept, monitored, and followed up on as needed.
• Verifies and tracks progress toward implementing project quality control processes into construction supervision activities.
• Ensure site progress information communicated periodically.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned to you by the team’s management.
• Make sure everything is in order before handing over the job.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience working on infrastructure projects for a minimum of 12 years.
• Expertise in the standards, regulations, and procedures of the industry at large.
• Solid familiarity with QCS, PWA, NFPA, and QCDD norms.
• Competent in creating and maintaining technical documentation and reports
• Proactive and self-reliant work style
