Salary Stewarding Supervisor job:

• QAR 15-25 per hour

Job Duties and Overview:

• Performs and oversees cleaning tasks for the kitchen and its appliances
• Oversees the storage and receipt of food items
• Ensures that all kitchen linens are handled with care
• While on the clock, makes sure all kitchen appliances are ready to go.
• Held accountable for overseeing the stewarding operation during the shift and ensuring the cleanliness and hygienic conditions of the food and beverage establishments.
• Keeps an eye on the washing and stowing of all kitchen appliances
• Always follow all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including those pertaining to health and safety, brand guidelines, and policy and procedure.
• Maintains a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Holds shift briefings to keep apprised of hotel operations and events when Chief Steward is not available.
• Ensures that the Stewarding process is running smoothly in order to minimize departmental expenses.
• Responsible for overseeing the following tasks: disposing of rubbish; keeping oneself and one’s teammates clean; cleaning the premises
