To reduce waste, you’ll be verifying stored items for expiration dates on a daily basis and helping to prepare for physical stock counts.

Salary Stores Assistant job:

• QAR 15-25 per hour

Job Duties and Overview:

• Help unload supplies from delivery trucks and process incoming commodities.
• Place items in their designated storage areas and sort them according to the FEFO (First Expired, First Out) policy.
• Take the necessary assessments and training courses to get qualified to use the appropriate machinery.
• Assist in transporting palletized loads from one location to another.
• Assist in the distribution of materials by selecting, de-boxing, and charging items onto the conveyor belt in accordance with the approved demand.
• Remove things from their packaging and arrange them in the thawing chiller so that they can thaw more quickly.
• Perform other department activities relevant to his/her employment as ordered by he Head of the Department.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• elementary math and reading comprehension
• Fluency in both spoken and written English
• Knowledge of how to use pallet jacks, scales, and other warehouse machinery
