Job Duties and Overview:
- Always acting in accordance with the established operating processes and Sofitel service standards when interacting with guests and coworkers.
- Serving guests or coworkers with courtesy and speed by referring to them by name.
- Making ensuring all expectations are satisfied by checking guest preferences and bookings.
- I will be at the reception desk nonstop during my shift.
- When taking calls both inside and outside of the hotel, please adhere to the protocol set out by the establishment.
- Pays attention to every customer that comes to the front desk and takes their message.
- I am always trying to figure out what the guests want, and when I do, I make sure to let my coworkers know so they can update their profile.
- Always trying to think ahead of our guests’ needs and wants, and getting them involved.
- To guarantee Guest loyalty, builds and sustains strong ties with them.
- Contributes fresh perspectives to departmental meetings, offering suggestions for enhancing service.
- Respects and gets along well with coworkers and other departments, interacts well with them, and completes tasks as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate
- Must be able to keep cool under pressure and complete a wide variety of responsibilities in a dynamic, high-pressure setting
- Need to be able to adjust work schedules as needed
- Familiarity with front desk computer systems.
- Highly regarded for exceptional guest care, consistently going above and beyond to meet guests’ expectations and even anticipating their requirements.
- Exhibits exceptional abilities in providing exceptional guest care, delivering a polished presentation, and communicating complex ideas.
- Highly independent, with excellent decision-making, problem-solving, action-taking, and deadline-adherence skills.
- Extensive background in front desk and reservation operations
