Job Duties and Overview:

• Educates customers on the brand’s quality standards and specifications; describes the product’s characteristics and benefits; shows them how to use and handle the product
• Gives clients recommendations for product lines that will meet their requirements; Providing clients with the information they need to make an informed purchasing choice
• Uses upselling, cross-selling, and other sales tactics to reach and exceed sales goals
• Verifies that all sales and prices are correct and in accordance with business policy.
• Determines retail prices and applicable reductions; Keeps track of sales data
• Creates invoices and receipts in addition to receiving and processing payments made by cash, checks, and credit.
• Functions as a cashier and, if relevant, handles money accurately at all times.
• Completely adheres to the store’s return/repair rules and procedures and follows all after-sale processes
• Observes all corporate policies and procedures pertaining to inventory management, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures
• Offers support to shop merchandising staff with product placement and organization
• Keeps the store neat and tidy at all times and makes sure employees are well-groomed.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• Sets annual performance objectives in conjunction with the reporting manager and works to see them through to completion.
• Assumes responsibility for his or her own professional growth by collaborating with management to determine areas for improvement and then settling on a strategy for achieving those goals that extends beyond traditional training and development.
• Participates in ongoing professional development and education to stay current on industry trends, best practices, and challenges
