The Registry and Academic Support Directorate at our Dubai campus is looking to hire an Academic Support Administrator. The Academic Support Administrator keeps records, arranges logistics for quality processes (like Academic Reviews), gets students ready for tests, helps with exam boards and progression, and serves as the school’s official secretary for important meetings pertaining to learning and teaching.
Furthermore, the Academic Support Administrator serves a diverse group of constituents, including students, parents, employees, and outside organizations, with efficiency and competence. As part of their job description, this position will look into and answer questions about the University’s policies and processes. This position reports to the Head of Registry and Student Services (Dubai Campus) and is part of the School Academic Support Administration unit.

Job Duties and Overview:
- Assist the Academic Support Directorate and the Schools with their Learning & Teaching administrative needs.
- Always maintain a level of professionalism when interacting with customers.
- Respond quickly and accurately via phone, email, and in person while maintaining a professional and diplomatic demeanor.
- Help stakeholders understand the University’s policies and processes as they pertain to the Schools and Learning & Teaching Activities by providing accurate information.
- Look into and settle questions. If it’s beyond the scope of your job description, make sure the stakeholder gets in touch with the right people.
- Keep all school records pertaining to learning and teaching up-to-date and correct.
- Assist with administering tests, which may involve making copies, storing scripts, communicating with faculty, preparing and sending test papers to outside examiners, and helping students with special needs arrange for accommodations on tests.
Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate
- Prior to exam boards or accreditation/review panels, compile and arrange coursework, exam scripts, and dissertations for evaluation by External Examiners.
- According to the University’s data management standards, you must preserve coursework, exam scripts, and dissertations in an archive and destroy them when necessary.
- Academic Reviews and accreditation operations are examples of quality processes that need administrative and logistical arrangements.
- Committees pertaining to the clerk’s education and training, including those governing review and advancement. Among these tasks are the following: scheduling meetings, creating and disseminating agendas, gathering relevant documents and reports, and taking minutes.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in work experience
- Work history in a comparable setting, as described above
- Skilled in the usage of appropriate software applications
- Proficiency in interacting with others
- Impressive level of professionalism and initiative
- Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a high level of efficiency, adaptability, and accuracy in high-
- pressure, fast-paced environments
- Ability to solve problems analytically
- Superior command of the English language, encompassing its written, spoken, and understood forms
