Job Duties and Overview:

• Before beginning work, the Engineer-in-Charge and the worker review the task cards to ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding the project’s goals, priorities, necessary paperwork, and any hazards.
• Maintains aircraft by completing tasks as outlined on job cards and ensuring all necessary paperwork, parts, equipment, and GSE are on hand and used.
• Executes paint repairs as detailed on task cards in strict accordance with established protocols and per the supervision of the Engineer in Charge.
• Responsible for retrieving the necessary tools and equipment from storage and returning it undamaged after use.
• Maintain constant communication with the Engineer in Charge regarding the progress of assigned tasks and any issues that may arise with the aircraft’s condition or the work performed.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• Training in Aircraft Painting
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to a good standard for technical communications.
• Ability to operate computer (Microsoft Office).
• Possibility of getting a driver’s license in the UAE.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in commercial airline maintenance, ideally with Airbus aircraft.
• Have worked in a Base Maintenance Workshop for at least 2 years.
• Capable of displaying a thorough comprehension of Airframe and Engine Maintenance fundamentals.
• Ensures all documented mandatory measures taken before beginning work and throughout the execution of assigned maintenance tasks.
  uses general safety equipment (GSE) and personal protective equipment (PPE) to keep themselves and others safe from harm while performing maintenance.
• Ensures that proper protocols for work interruptions are followed and that sufficient access and lighting are used during maintenance and inspections, paying close attention to human factors.
• Avoiding damage and having to redo work during maintenance reduces the amount of resources used up and the money spent on replacement parts.
