The CNNI Productions Producer is a key member of the team responsible for creating content that brings in money for CNN. They will work to innovate and experiment with new technologies in order to produce feature material for all of CNN’s platforms, which may include anything from written digital features and bite-sized social videos to complete 30-minute TV documentaries.

Candidates should have demonstrated success in creating visually stunning and emotionally engaging content for web, television, and social media channels. They will be journalists with a penchant for foreign reporting.

Job Duties and Overview:

• A good producer is a skilled storyteller who can create material that resonates with viewers no matter where they are or what they plan to do next.
• They maintain CNN’s high standards while coming up with story treatments for digital, TV, and social media.
• The Producer will be responsible for delivering on established KPIs throughout CNN’s portfolio of sponsored series, typically in collaboration with other producers or specialty section editors.
• They will also engage in substantial travel and work closely with CNN’s regional bureaus to bring the world’s diverse cultures,
• innovations, and fascinating people to the attention of CNN’s worldwide audience.
• The Commissioning Editor, who will report to you, will set the goals and budget for each sponsored campaign.
• The Producer will also engage with Concept Development Executives to ideate fresh sponsorship series concepts.
• Those who are aspiring storytellers, who are good at building rapport, working in teams,
• contributing to the team’s success should feel at home in this position.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• Proven ability to generate traffic through the development of compelling content (written, video, social).
• Possessing excellent writing and editing skills is a must for this position.

   

• Skills and interest in social media’s potential as a platform for content distribution and user interaction

   

• Effective communicator and team player.

   

• Editorial acumen that has been proved effective combined with knowledge of current events.

   

• In-depth familiarity with a variety of computer systems and mobile gadgets.
