Job Duties and Overview:

• You’ll be expected to do everything from setting up tables and polishing silverware to actually serving guests throughout the meal.
• Monitoring restaurant stock and communicating any supply gaps (in linen, glassware, etc.).
• Be well-versed on the menus of various restaurants and eateries.
• Catering events or providing food and drink in meeting spaces.
• Taking orders from diners, educating them on the menu, and offering guidance as they make their selections.
• Getting in touch with higher-ups for guidance when necessary.
• Keeping the kitchen informed of orders and any specific requests from diners.
• Maintain a steady pace of upselling food and drink and informing customers of deals.
• Making drinks, snacks, and bread for customers, as needed.
• Attending social events and receptions to serve if necessary.
• Taking care of money matters and closing paperwork if necessary.
• Providing the guests with all of their food and drink needs in a timely and kind manner.
• Taking reservations, in collaboration with the supervisor and hostess/host if necessary due of unique requests of the guest.
• In charge of upkeep duties before, during, and after service.
• Maintaining a spotless appearance in all public spaces.
• Be present at necessary departmental gatherings.
• Solicit comments from visitors and report them to higher-ups.
• Propose solutions to common problems
• Have experience using the food and beverage establishments’ ordering systems.
• Always prioritize your customers’ happiness by providing them with exactly what they requested.
• Putting your best foot forward every day in front of the team and our guests.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• Expertise of at least two years’ worth is required.
• Ideally, they would have worked in a fast-paced F&B setting before.
• Always provides outstanding service to visitors.
• Task, personnel, and material planning and management.
• Superb abilities in talking to and working with other people.
• Expertise in food hygiene and safety, quantified.
• Superior abilities in assisting clients.
