Job Duties and Overview:

  • Provide helpful and attentive service by anticipating guests’ requirements and promptly responding to their concerns.
  • Has in-depth familiarity with all aspects of the resort’s offerings, including but not limited to: room categories, pricing, relative amenities, dining options, specials, spa services, and Anantara properties.
  • Maintain the utmost level of professionalism at all times by accepting full responsibility for the manner in which our guests are served.
  • It is imperative that you take full responsibility for promptly resolving any concerns related to guest satisfaction.
  • Verify that all money dealings adhere to resort policy.
  • Creative and proactive, offering new ways to satisfy guests’ demands as they enjoy their stay at Anantara.
  • No matter how good or bad a guest’s review is, you must inform the supervisor.
  • I aim to foster a strong and cooperative working connection with every department.
  • Keep up with resort happenings, shift briefings, and training to hone your craft.
  • Maintain cordial ties with outside businesses.
  • Establish seamless guest transfers by coordinating closely with the Concierge and the limo drivers.
  • Meticulous and guarantee correct handoff between incoming and departing shifts.
  • Always be polite and respectful when answering the phone.
  • Make sure you promptly respond to any guest requests and get back to them or the resort as needed.
  • Assume responsibility for attending to guests’ requests and needs, taking swift action as necessary.
  • Notify the front desk manager of any accidents, strange occurrences, or visitor comments.
  • Knows the resort’s events and is familiar with all of the facilities, including those in guest rooms.
  • Maintain awareness of the day’s arrivals, departures, and transportation plans.
  • Acknowledge each visitor.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

  • Putting the client first
  • It is ideal that you have prior expertise with front desk operations at hotels.
  • Highly effective communicator; native English speaker preferred
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; familiarity with up-to-date PMS is an asset.
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese.
