Job Duties and Overview:

• Maintains all civil, interior design, and Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment finishes to their highest standards per the Preventive Maintenance Plan.
• Makes certain that chemicals, paints, varnishes, strippers, and other finishing goods are handled in an eco-friendly manner.
• Effective problem-solving is facilitated by daily inspection of the Maintenance Log Book.
• Provides timely, courteous service in response to passenger requests
• Contributes to departmental meetings by voicing opinions and proposing changes
• Maintain a safe and eco-friendly operation for the sake of the well-being of all involved (customers, workers, and the general public).

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• Two years’ experience in a comparable position within the hotel industry is required (with 5 star experience preferred).
• Skilled in all phases of carpentry, interior design, and FF&E restoration and upkeep
• Possessing proficiency with all common repair tools, reading shop drawings and specifications, and estimating materials needs.

   

• Work shifts consist mostly of standing and walking.
• Regularly stoop, kneel, push, pull, lift; occasionally climb or descend ladders, steps, and ramps; regularly lift and carry up to 20 pounds
