Job Duties and Overview:

• Maintain a risk-free working environment for all employees.
• As needed or instructed, offer technical guidance and oversee project OHS planning in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Roll out a company-wide health and safety training program.
• Help execute and keep tabs on the project’s Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
• Conducting a safety orientation for the project and any other necessary safety training.
• All work equipment and processes must have risk assessments that are completed and reviewed regularly..
• Keep detailed and accurate records of all training and health and safety activities.
• Perform any additional appropriate tasks assigned by management as needed.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• A NEBOSH International General Certificate and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (such as engineering, construction, OSHA, etc.)
• Workplace safety and compliance program manager with three to five years of relevant expertise
• Having prior experience with heavy machinery and equipment is a plus.
• Expertise with current and future local regulations and policy shifts
• Capacity to effectively manage time, set priorities, and multitask
• Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and other computer programs
• Familiarity with procedures or materials that could cause hard
• Background in health and safety policy and report writing
• Possessing prior experience with data analysis and statistical reporting
• Superb ability to stay organized
• Dedicated, meticulous, and meticulous
• Capable of presenting and explaining complex health and safety issues; strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Consistently excellent attendance and timekeeping
• Impeccable neatness
