Job Duties and Overview:

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and business planning by compiling analytical and statistical data. Maintain an eye on invoices, help out with general accounting tasks, and coordinate with the finance team as needed.
• Keeping tabs on event costs and preparing consolidated reports for weekly meetings is financial management. Create sales reports and track key performance indicators for revenue projections and yield management.
• Act as a point of contact for all marketing-related matters (such as client database administration and measuring marketing’s return on investment).
• Inquire about the event’s food, venue, special needs, etc., after the event has taken place. Communicating event information to the appropriate delivery teams in a timely manner to fulfill client requirements. Consolidate event comments, ensure action if appropriate and retain the record for future event.
• Conduct oneself and team members in a manner consistent with the company’s principles and ethical standards.
• Prepare reports and complete any projects provided by the Line Manager, all while working within the bounds of your established administrative responsibilities in sales.
• Carry out other responsibilities and use discretion and judgment when dealing with sensitive information and/or matters.
• The hours and days worked will vary with the needs of the organization.
• This position requires travel for sales and meetings as well as off-site work for event planning and support.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• A four-year college diploma with a major in hotel and restaurant management or event planning. Training in the areas of hospitality, advertising, PR, business, and comms.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a senior sales/customer service position; ideally in the hotel/restaurant/event planning sector.
• Superior Sales and Interpersonal Skills.
• Superior Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Proficient in both spoken and written English. Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
