Salary Stewarding Supervisor job:

• AED 20-30 per hour

Job Duties and Overview:

• Card providing employees with discounted prices at Accor hotels across the world

• Free lunch provided throughout shift
• Keeping the food service establishments’ kitchens, loading dock, and storage areas clean and organized
• Keeping the hotel’s china, silverware, glassware, cookware, banquet equipment, kitchen, and cleaning supplies spotless is a top priority.
• Ensure timely delivery of equipment for banquet and restaurant setup and dismantle, while maintaining good communication between the
• Stewarding crew, Culinary, and Restaurant Management.
• The kitchen’s receiving and storing of food and non-food items
• Always providing prompt, courteous, and proactive guest service while also lending a hand to coworkers
• Keep an eye on the Stewarding crew and make sure they’re following all departmental rules.
• Deploy a team of stewards
• Go over the banquet requisitions and make sure everything is set up and ready for the function.
• Make sure everything is in working order by checking equipment every day and reporting any problems to the Stewarding Management staff right away.
• Adhere to all service standards, departmental policies, and procedures
• Keep all areas, including storage areas and equipment, clean and free of hazards.
• Other responsibilities as needed

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• Dedicated to ensuring a safe and clean workplace
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation
• One to two years of managerial or supervisorial experience
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, loud environment while still interacting with others in a good and polite manner
• Positional Physical Considerations (including but not limited to):

   

• Stand and walk frequently throughout shift
• Up to 45-50 pounds of lifting, pushing, and kneeling is required frequently.
• Using ramps and stairs to go up or down
