Job Duties and Overview:

• Reports on stock levels will updated as needed.
• Always keep accurate records.
• When the supply of any item in normal stores drops below a certain minimum limit, a purchase order must be issued to replace the item.
• To verify and receive purchased products supplied by the receiving department and to arrange for the storage in appropriate places.
• Set aside resources for future use if needed.
• Materials must be distributed in accordance with authorized requisition notes and material lists.

Eligibility Criteria/About the Candidate

• As a kind of internal control against erroneous distributions, theft, etc., it is important to compare the book totals to the actual stock on hand on a regular basis.
• Complies with all SOPs and safe working procedures.
• Reports incidents and near-misses when required.
• Carries out other tasks in a similar vein upon request.
• Maintain a state of preparedness for an unexpected internal or external audit of the store.
• Competencies and prior experience are necessary
• A diploma or certificate in material management required, at a bare minimum.
